The weak northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf of Thailand. In upper Thailand cool to cold weather with fair sky during the day. The minimum temperatures range 14-22 °C, and the mountaintops are cold to very cold with the minimum temperatures in range of 4-13 °C. Less rain is forecast for in the South. All transport in the upper country should proceed with caution in foggy areas. \r\nAnother moderate high pressure covers the lower China. It will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea by tomorrow (27 December 2019) with decreasing temperature by 2-4 °C in the North and the Northeast, decreasing temperature by 1-3 °C in the Central, the East, including Bangkok and vicinity. \r\nThe strengthening northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South. The moderate winds wave about 2 meters are likely in the Gulf of Thailand. \r\nThe category 5 (typhoon) “PHANFONE” over the middle South China Sea.
