Cool spells remains in the upper North. The westerly winds at high level of upper air still prevails across the upper North with morning fog with isolated thick patches. Farmers watch for crop’s failure in the lower North, the lower Northeast, the East and the lower Central.  \r\nDuring 29 January to 4 February, another rather strong high-pressure system from China will cover upper Thailand with variable weather conditions. Outbreaks of thundershowers will be likely with dropping in temperature by 6-8 °C and strong winds, affecting the Northeast first and then the rest regions. The northeast monsoon will get stronger over the Gulf forcing more rain and isolated heavy downpours in the Gulf.
