The weak northeast monsoon still prevails across the Gulf and the South of the country. During 27-30 December, another high pressure will extend to the upper country while the monsoon will intensify. \r\nOutbreaks of cool to cold spells cover the upper country, as well as morning fog with isolated thick patches. A reduction of rain spell will be likely in the South. During 27-30 December, outbreaks of persistent cold spells, as well as windy days, are likely with a decrease by 3-5 °C while more rain with some heavy will be expected in the lower South. The strong winds lead to high waves up to 2-3 meters in the Gulf.
